Uses a variation of the proven A2 birdcage flash hider and fast, ACME style threads that require only 2.5 quick turns to attach the suppressor to the mount and a fast one-quarter turn on the lock ring to secure. Patent pending ASR (Active Spring Retention) system creates a fast to attach and detach, solid, repeatable mounting platform for your Specwar 5.56 suppressor. If used on its own, the A2 style birdcage flash hider greatly reduces the flash and dust signature of the host weapon. Threaded 1/2x28 tpi to fit most AR-15 and other popular 5.56 host weapons.
